When asked about trolling and how social media affects it, Sagarika Ghatge said, “I think for me, after marriage, I started spending a lot of time—I mean, post-marriage, he had retired, and there was no pressure of whether he was playing or not. The IPL was going on, but not really… I mean, yes, it happened. But I think it’s about just ignoring all of that. For us, when we come home, that’s not even something we discuss. I think it’s everybody else who talks about it, but the two people actually involved don’t even think about it much.”
She added, “I think the world talks and people keep discussing something or the other. But at home, we are talking about completely different things—maybe about what needs to be done in a particular corner of the house! That’s what I’m discussing with my husband. So, you know, what I’m saying is that it’s your life, and you do what you have to do.”

Talking about Zaheer Khan, she said, “In fact, I feel like—see, I’ve learned this over time. I think Zaheer is someone who has never cared about what others think of him. He has always done what he truly believed in and never looked for validation from others. I’ve learned a lot from him in that aspect. I look up to him for how he handles things, and I feel like I’ve managed it quite well, too, with him being around. So no, not really. When we’re at home, we’re honestly just at home. It’s never been about discussing what people are saying. There are so many other things going on in our lives that are so much more important.”
